Justin Theroux Throws Shade On Flip-Flops & Tevas!

Jennifer Aniston├óΓé¼Γäós man knows what he likes — and doesn├óΓé¼Γäót like.

And Justin Theroux is vehemently against at least two things when it comes to footwear: flip-flops and Tevas.

Until today, we thought embracing the highly LA-centric entertainment industry and embracing flip-flops went hand in hand! That is apparently not so, as Justin has made his thoughts on the matter quite clear in GQ‘s October issue.

JT told the mag:

“There├óΓé¼Γäós these guys you see just walking through SoHo with big mops of hair, wearing flannel pants and flip├óΓé¼ΓÇ£flops on their way to Montauk. And you think, ├óΓé¼╦£Who the hell are you? What do you do?├óΓé¼Γäó Fucking surfboard on the top of the Range Rover.”

Well!

First of all, we have to assume he’s talking about MEN in flip-flops, since his fiancé wears them all the time.

Second, doesn’t he know flippy-floppies are the most efficient way to keep your feet cool when the weather gets hot? Nobody likes a smelly motorcycle boot in the dead of summer, Justin!

And if you thought his disgust of flip-flops were bad, just wait until you hear what he had to say about Tevas! The actor added:

“I have a real issue with the makers of Tevas. Not only should there never be Velcro on any shoe; there should not be Velcro and neoprene on a shoe. Then there definitely should not be Velcro, neoprene, and some sort of beaded Indian print. I know: They├óΓé¼Γäóre comfortable. Lots of things are comfortable. I could put my feet in kneaded dough and walk down the street. That├óΓé¼Γäós comfortable, but I├óΓé¼Γäóm not going to do it, you know? Ridiculous.”

We can’t exactly support Justin├óΓé¼Γäós tirade against Velcro, because that sh*t WORKS. But at the same time, we can├óΓé¼Γäót argue with the man for having an opinion!
