Khloé Kardashian went all out to give Tristan Thompson‘s younger brother an amazing birthday this year!
The 39-year-old reality star took to Instagram on Thursday to show fans a peek into the party she threw for Amari Thompson in honor of him turning 17 years old. The whole event took place in her backyard — sorry, their backyard — we forgot Tristan lives with her again.

She first shared a photo of a massive silver balloon display placed above the pool that said, “Happy Birthday Amari.” Check it out (below):
She then posted a carousel of pictures from the birthday celebrations on her grid, including two selfies of her and Amari. She also included an adorable family photo with her mom Kris Jenner, 5-year-old daughter True Thompson, and 6-year-old niece Dream Kardashian. The Good American founder captioned the post:
“Someone is 17 today!!!! Happy birthday sweet sweet Amari!!! We are all so blessed to have been touched by an angel such as you. you are truly one of Gods greatest treasures.”
So sweet!
Although Tristan wasn’t included in Khloé’s pics, he was present for the get-together! The 32-year-old basketball player posted a birthday tribute on the ‘gram of him sitting next to his sibling in his ex-girlfriend’s backyard, writing in the caption:
“Happy birthday to my sweet baby brother Amari! I love you forever! We Miss you mommy”
What a kind gesture from Koko, especially after such a difficult year for the Thompson family. Back in January, Tristan and Amari suddenly lost their mother, Andrea Thompson, after she suffered a heart attack. The athlete subsequently became Amari’s legal guardian. In order to help out after the rain storms in California cause his roof to cave in, Khloé allowed the two of them to stay in her house. She said in a confessional on this week’s finale episode of The Kardashians:
“I’m grateful that I’m strong enough and brave enough to be a support system for someone else that has no other support system right now. You don’t have to treat me right for me to treat you right—it’s not the way I was raised.”
Fans cannot deny Khloé has such a big heart to support Tristan so much, even after all the pain he’s put her through over the years due to his cheating ways! We’re glad Amari was also able to celebrate his birthday surrounded by loved ones!
