Police released a 911 call of an Ohio woman who told dispatchers she had been abducted, leading to the arrest of her captor and the discovery of three murder victims.
According to reports, officials found the woman safe in an abandoned home after her call on Tuesday, in which she whispered to a dispatcher “please hurry.”
In the phone call, the terrified woman said that she had been tied up, but partly freed herself to make the call for her captor Shawn Grate‘s (pictured above) room.
The woman — whose name has not been released — told the dispatcher Grate was asleep and she was afraid of waking him up.

The woman was afraid to leave because “the bedroom is closed and he made it so it would make a noise,” and she believed the man could “catch me, and he’s strong.”
Ashland police said responding officers found the woman and Grate — who is homeless — at a house that was supposed to be unoccupied.
Investigators also found the remains of two other people, and Grate later led them to a third body in a neighboring county.
On Wednesday, police confirmed one of the bodies was 43-year-old Stacey Stanley, who had been reported missing since September 8 after getting a flat tire.

Grate is in jail on an abduction charge. The 40-year-old has a long criminal record, serving jail time in 1997 on a burglary charge.
In the call, the woman identifies Grate by name, saying she had known him for a month and a half and was walking with him to “his place” when he abducted her.
How terrifying! Not only did this woman’s bravery save her own life, but she prevented other from getting abducted by this sicko.
