Lala Kent Reveals She & Randall Emmett Want To Start A Family - But Have Nearly Broken Up 'A Dozen Times' During The Quarantine!

Just like plenty of other couples out there, Lala Kent and Randall Emmett‘s relationship has been tested during the quarantine!

During Tuesday’s episode of Maria Menounos‘ daytime show, Better Together, the 30-year-old Vanderpump Rules star shared an update on what’s next for her and the 48-year-old producer following their canceled wedding plans late last month, and joked about why they might not get hitched after all!

As we mentioned, the pair has been challenged by all of the extra free time on their hands while quarantined together amid the coronavirus pandemic:

“Well Randall and I have almost broken up about a dozen times, so, you know you, this is definitely a test for people’s relationships, but it’s so crazy because you know you sit there and you start bickering about little things and you start over analyzing everything and like we really have just like elevated our relationship in such an amazing way.”

But she insisted the couple would never let a few verbal spats get in the way of their future, adding:

“Like, I know we’re always gonna argue and of course we were never really going to end the relationship, but ya know, you’re stuck with someone, um, but there was, ya know, we’re in such a great place I didn’t even think we could get any better.”

We’re glad to hear it! Especially because the starlet also revealed they endured a pivotal moment shortly after she publicly opened up about her sobriety struggles earlier this year:

“I went to Randall’s office that day and said I’m letting you know I’m an alcoholic and I’m reaching out and getting help. What I didn’t know, Maria, was that he had written me a letter that was basically saying I can’t be with you if you’re gonna live your life this way. And he didn’t even have to give it to me because that was, I said that I was gonna reach out and get help, and I’ve been sober now for a year and a half.”

All things considered, Kent said she and her fiancé are definitely ready to start a family!

As you’re likely aware, they already co-parent Randall’s two daughters London and Rylee, whom he shares with ex-wife Ambyr Childers. The two were scheduled for a fertility appointment that ultimately had to be canceled due to the COVID-19 outbreak:

“I would like two [kids], Randall wants one, so we’ll have two. I had made an appointment with my gynecologist to talk about, you know, starting to get it moving, because I was ready! I was gonna do that on April 9th, and Randall and I had discussed, like, let’s make babies, and then this whole thing happen!”

We hope they can get back on track once this pandemic is finally over! Our baby bump watch will be on high alert until then.

During the conversation, Lala also spilled some tea about the new faces on Pump Rules this season, admitting she doesn’t think the show needed any more cast members:

“I look back on what we filmed this season, and I don’t think they were needed at all. There was so much drama, that they could’ve just gone into all the nitty gritty with it. I don’t think the newbies were needed in any way. No. I’m going to get an email for saying that!”

She threw caution to the wind after that and elaborated further:

“I don’t relate to them…I call them the commercial of the show. This show that the OGs made for 7 years before these new kids came on…people are invested in that! When you bring a chunk of new people in, and expect people to be very invested in the storyline…it takes me out of the moment. It’s weird!…They’re a little soft. A lot of them, I see what little things make them upset, and I’m like, wow, you would’ve crawled in a hole if you experienced what I experienced when I first came on here.”
