Leonardo DiCaprio Fights For Rhinos, Tigers, Elephants

Leonardo DiCaprio
Leonardo DiCaprio is a HUGE animal lover.
He’s a total eco warrior!
We just know if he wasn’t off making our favorite movies, he’d be in Africa, riding rhinos, chasing off poachers.
But because he can’t hang out in Africa all the time, he helped launch the World Wildlife Fund’s new campaign “Hands Off My Parts.”
The campaign is trying to raise awareness for rhinos, tigers and elephants who are being senselessly slaughtered for their skin, bones, horns, tusks and other parts.
Leo said:

“Illegal wildlife trade is the most urgent threat facing species like tigers, rhinos and elephants. These animals are being killed every day to feed an escalating demand for their body parts. Whole populations are at risk of being wiped out if we don’t take immediate action to shut down this illicit trade. As a key step, I am joining WWF and others calling on Thailand’s government to show leadership on elephant conservation by shutting down its ivory market before the country hosts a meeting of 177 nations on wildlife trade in March 2013.”

The best part about all of this??
Leo is getting tired of acting and plans on taking a “long, long break.”
That means he’ll be free to fight the good cause all over the world├óΓé¼┬ª and that’s exactly what he plans on doing, saying:

“I would like to improve the world a bit. I will fly around the world doing good for the environment.”

That’s ahmayzing! We’re so happy!
Someone with as much power, money and good looks as Leo could do a lot for the planet!
Way to fight the good fight, Leo!
