Taking inspiration from Whoopi Goldberg‘s Sister Act 2: Back in the Habit, the 31-year-old channeled Lauryn Hill‘s character from the ’90s sequel by showing off her robes before she and her backup dancer choir took them off to reveal their wild ensems underneath.
Lizzo was easily looking like “that bitch” in her denim jumpsuit, which revealed lots of leg with its sexy laced-up sides!

The Truth Hurts singer’s energetic act — her first ever on the MTV Movie & TV Awards stage — continued with a near-end-of-performance vocal warmup, like the one from the classic film, and you can see the audience was living for it!
