LVMH To Acquire Rodarte?

Seems like LVMH is slowly taking control of some of the largest fashion labels out there.
Currently, LVMH controls such labels as Louis Vuitton, Marc Jacobs, Fendi and Givenchy. But rumor has it they might be adding Rodarte to their high profile list.
According to reports, the company has already held several meetings with Rodarte about a potential investment.
It didn’t help that LVMH’s fashion division ceo Pierre-Yves Roussel was spotted sitting front row recently at Rodarte’s Autumn/Winter 2010 show.
But really, LVMH investing in a brand loved by a younger, indie crowd? Not their typical investment.
So far neither side has commented on any possible acquisition.
