Maren Morris Expertly Shuts Down Critic Who Asked Her To 'Stop With The Botox'

Maren Morris doesn’t suffer fools and she had the perfect response to a “fan” who criticized her appearance on social media this week!

As reported, the 29-year-old singer and her hubby Ryan Hurd welcomed their first child together late last month in March. After posting a sweet selfie with her newborn son, Hayes Andrew Hurd, on Monday, the country music crooner was forced to thwart a negative commenter who suggested she’s using too much Botox these days.

How gorgeous! We see the look of exhaustion in her eyes, which definitely comes with parenthood. But all things considered, Maren is fresh-faced, glowing, and appears cozy as hell with her little bundle of joy! There were plenty of supportive messages from fans, however, one shady IG commenter took issue with the photo and wrote:

“Stop with the botox…”

In response, Morris quipped:

“Dude, I just went through a pregnancy and we’re in the middle of a quarantine. The Botox has long worn off [laughing emoji].”

Now, that’s how you put someone in their place!! With a heaping dose of sarcastic humor, too.

As she pointed out, most of the country is still observing safer-at-home orders amid the coronavirus pandemic. Maren made it clear she’s not breaking quarantine to catch up on any beauty treatments — and we sincerely hope our other favorite celebs continue to follow suit! Again, the starlet looks beautiful and she seems rightfully more concerned with tending to her son Hayes than keeping up appearances.

Morris and Hurd announced their baby’s arrival weeks ago on March 23 and we couldn’t be happier for them! Judging by this cute update (minus the shade in the comments), the family of three appears to be adjusting quite nicely at home together.

The 80s Mercedes songstress first told fans she was expecting back in October 2019, writing on IG:

“The irony is just too rich that after a year of living in the ‘GIRL’ headspace, the universe would give us a baby boy to even things out. See you in 2020, little one. “

At the time, she and her husband shared photos from their stunning maternity shoot, with Ryan adding on social media:

“MY BOYS CAN SWIM. BABY BOY HURD 2020! Look at her…cannot believe this life with this girl. Also, thank you George Constanza for this caption that I’ve been sitting on my entire life…”
