Twitter Reacts To Megyn Kelly's Controversial Alex Jones Interview -- As The Infowars Host Sends Condolences To Sandy Hook Parents!

no title
After a lot of hype — and uproar — Megyn Kelly‘s controversial interview with Alex Jones finally aired on Sunday night.
As you’d expect, the reviews were split over the NBC newbie’s one-on-one sit down with the conspiracy theorist, who outrageously claimed the 2012 Sandy Hook shooting was a hoax.
Publications like Politico gave Kelly a glowing review for exposing the Infowars host, while others criticized her for not breaking any new information that isn’t already on his Wikipedia page.
But not everyone on the political spectrum tuned in, as both members of the alt-right and progressives denounced the interview for much different reasons.

Jones disputants couldn’t support Kelly giving the reckless accuser a larger platform — even if it was used to tear him apart — while alt-right supporters wouldn’t stand for the mainstream media journalist blindsiding Jones with a “gotcha hit piece” after baiting him with promises of a much softer interview.
Moral of the story: Kelly is the new ice queen of journalism and she will leave you with severe frostbite!!
Why do we say that? Because ahead of the interview, Jones actually sent his condolences to the parents of the Sandy Hook victims — whom he previously claimed were “crisis actors” — in a surprising Father’s Day video confessional.
Hours before his NBC interview aired, Jones offered his “sincere condolences” in a video message, saying “parents should never have to bury their own children.”

While he didn’t directly apologize to the Newtown, CT residents, he did offer them an opportunity to speak directly on Infowars to “open a dialogue” on a platform he could control. He continued:

“I’d also like to reach out to any of the parents who lost a child at Newtown, to invite them to contact me to open a dialogue. I think it’s really essential we do that instead of letting the [mainstream media] really misrepresent things and really try to drive this nation apart.”

Yeah, we have a feeling Sandy Hook parents will continue to stay far away from Jones and his tinfoil hat.
