What has gotten into you?! We thought you were all back on track!
The singer has apparently agreed re-join her former Girls Aloud bandmates for a reunion tour starting in 2012, but recently came forward to assert that despite all this, they are not her friends – only work colleagues!
She explains:
“They’re not my friends. I don’t speak to them or socialize with them.I have my own friends that I’ve grown up with and the girls are very much my colleagues. Are you friends with your workmates? I wouldn’t socialize with them outside of work.”
And furthermore, a source close to her has revealed:
“Nadine and Cheryl have never been close and they’re not about to start now. Cheryl has always hated the fact that Nadine has a better voice than her and was always given lead vocals…Nadine is shocked at how well Cheryl has done given her ‘lack of talent’. Now she’s said openly to her friends that the band need her for the reunion because she carries a lot of the songs. For Nadine, it seems to be more about the money than doing it for the girls. She will make a fortune from a reunion tour and she knows it. Kimberley has been the most desperate to do it and Cheryl would never let her down. Cheryl has said, ‘I don’t have a choice if Kim and Nic are involved! I can’t let my girls down’.”
Aw, c’mon! Is this really necessary?!
We sincerely hope that these ladies can just put their egos and differences aside, and just try and have fun with it!
This kind of drama is only going to affect the quality of the reunion show – NEGATIVELY!
UPDATE: Reps for Nadine are telling us that she never did any interviews in which she talked negatively about Girls Aloud. We’re being told it’s all “made up” and “complete lies.” We’ve also been told that she is furious about all of this because she has no bad blood with any of the girls, and her legal team will be looking into it.
