Naomi Campbell canceled a perfume appearance because she had to walk up some stairs.
Ugh. Bitch, pelase!
According to her former agent Carole White, in 2000 Naomi pulled out of an Australian awards show after discovering she had to walk up two flights of stairs because the elevator was broken.
Seriously!?
Now Naomi is being sued by Moodform Mission for backing out of her 12 year hawking agreement for her many fragrances including Naomi Campbell, Cat Deluxe, and Cat Deluxe with Kisses.
However the diva is countersuing Moodform, saying that she would sign whatever Carole White put in front of her without reading the agreements, which is exactly how she got tangled in this perfume deal.
Stoopid!
Naomi also says Moodform got money they weren’t entitled to and Carole covered up her role in the company. But the company fired back and claims Campbell knew exactly what she was getting into.
White’s lawyer has asked the judge to throw the case out, saying:
“The human element that brings the parties before the court is clear: greed, ingratitude and a grotesque sense of entitlement on the part of Campbell that, in her mind, justifies her doing anything she wants to do, including stealing her business partners’ money and then lying about what happened.”
Me-ow!
What’s also inneresting is Carole is a key witness in that war crimes case where Naomi allegedly received uncut blood diamonds.
Naomi has yet to be subpoenaed in the case.
