Success breeds success!
Natalie Portman is SUCH a good actress that it seemed inevitable that she was to be a great mommy!
Which, as far as we can tell, she totally is!
Anyone hoping for Natalie to write a book on how to be a great parent will surely be disappointed though!
She doesn’t believe in parenting rules — according to her!!!
Here’s what she said:
“I love being a mum. I’m less judgmental than before I had a kid. The biggest thing I’ve learnt is that parenting is a totally different experience for every person. Everything is cool, there are no rules – I mean, apart from not hurting your kid. Some people breast-feed until their babies are five, and some don’t breast-feed at all. There are no rules about what it means to be a feminist, or a good mother. For some it’s going to be right to go back to work, for others it’s going to be right to stop working completely.”
We think that is a magnificent point! Everyone marches to a different drum!
What may work for one person doesn’t necessarily work for someone else!
We think if mothers follow the Black Swan actress’ golden and obvious rule of not hurting your kid, then everything else they do will be be totally fine.
