Orlando Bloom Opens Up About Fatherhood & His Admiration For Katy Perry!

Orlando Bloom has had a lot of life experiences, but his son’s birth is what’s impacted him the most!
We know this to be true as The Lord Of The Rings alum dished about how his 5-year-old Flynn‘s birth reshaped the way he looked at the world. Awww!

During a chat with Entertainment Tonight at UNICEF‘s 70th anniversary event in NYC, the Hollywood hunk shared:

“Being a father, you know, you kind of have a new sense of responsibility.”

Bloom added that ever since he and ex Miranda Kerr welcomed Flynn into the world back in 2011, his “level of compassion” has grown. How sweet!
So it’s no wonder the 39-year-old has an appreciation for the work UNICEF does. He continued:

“I’ve seen the work that it does to actually make a difference in communities around the world and I couldn’t be more honored to be a part of it and to celebrate 70 years tonight.”

It probably helps that Orlando and girlfriend Katy Perry are both equally dedicated to working with the United Nation‘s children fund. On his lady’s charitable work, the A-lister noted:

“She’s amazing, you know, I’m super proud of the work that she does. She’s a voice that speaks to so many and it’s remarkable to see her champion this cause, [and] it’s amazing that we happen to do this together.”

LOVES it!
As you may recall, the Pirates of the Caribbean actor was by his GF’s side at the UNICEF Snowflake Ball where she was honored for her humanitarian work. Ironically, Orlando had won the same award the year before.
We are just SO about these two as a couple it’s ridiculous. LOLz!
