This is devastating.
On Thursday, Rose McGowan took to Twitter to reveal why women don’t report sexual assault, by sharing her own horrific story.

The 43-year-old first thanked producer Cassian Elwes for supporting her when no one else would, in what initially seemed like a vague post, writing:

But then, the actress joined in the #WhyWomenDontReport conversation, confessing she had been raped by a studio head.
The Charmed alum shared:

We’re absolutely heartbroken, knowing that Miz McGowan went through such a traumatic time. But, we’re incredibly grateful that she was brave enough to share her story with us.
