Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively certainly had an unconventional start to their relationship!
In recent interview with SiriusXM‘s Entertainment Weekly radio show, the Deadpool actor revealed that he and his wife first fell in love while on a double date… with OTHER people! AH-Mazing!

The 39-year-old shared:
“About a year after Green Lantern had come and gone and we were both single we went on a double date ├óΓé¼ΓÇ£ she was on a date with another guy and I was on a date with another girl ├óΓé¼ΓÇ£ and it was like the most awkward date for the respective parties because we were just like fireworks coming across.”
That’s just HIGHlarious. But hey, what can you do when sparks are involved??
Still, there wasn’t always romantic tension between the twosome. In fact, Ryan went on to note that he and the blonde beauty started off as just friends. He continued:
“We were buddies for a long time, which I think is the best way to have a relationship, to start as friends.”
Aww! However, now that Ryan has met his dream girl he’s ready to have a bunch more kids with her — specifically nine more daughters. Currently, the duo are parents to their daughter James.
The Canadian native added:
“I can’t get enough of that. If I could have nine daughters, I would be thrilled.”
We wonder how Miz Lively feels about that??

Despite the fact that Reynolds loves “being surrounded by estrogen,” it seems his real reason for wanting girls is to preserve his home. He relayed:
“My brothers and I, there’s four of us, we would destroy the house. I was eight and I could patch and drywall at eight. We could actually repair an entire hole in the wall in our house within 15 minutes. That’s part of the reason I don’t want boys, I don’t want a wiffle house.
I wonder if we’ll have a boy one day, I wonder how that will go. A little mini-Deadpool.”
Oh my! Nonetheless, we’re totally on board as we’d love for little James to have a few more siblings to play with.
