Comic Con Staying Put In San Diego

There was some heavy speculation that Comic-Con would be moving from its much beloved home in San Diego to another convention venue when the center’s contract expired in 2012.
Not to worry, because that no longer seems the case. Source are reporting that this morning that San Diego and Comic-Con International today will announce a new contract for another 5 years. This is a big win for them, considering that the tourist revenue brought in is massive and both El Lay & Anaheim were launching massive campaigns to secure the rights to it.
But we think you geeks and freaks have gotten pretty tight with San Diego. Shouldn’t be anywhere else!
