Looking to party without all that chit-chat? You might want to head to Toronto.
A Canadian strip mall will be the home of North America’s “first known” sex doll “brothel” when a company called Aura Dolls opens its doors in September.
According to its website, Aura Dolls boasts a selection of six female silicone gals that “cater to everyone’s choice of beauty.”

Customers have the choice of spending an evening with the likes of Anna (Japanese), Jazmine (Colombian),  Yuki (Korean), and Scarlett (American) — and can view the profiles of each doll before making their selection.
A company rep told The Toronto Star that service rates range between $80 to about $900, depending on the time and number of dolls a customer rents. Aura Dolls promises a discreet experience with no staff interaction and a three-step cleaning process between each session.

The company also plans on expanding its selection of dolls in the near future, and will eventually introduce male counterparts.
Aura Dolls claims Toronto’s residents are excited about the sex doll brothel, but Toronto Councillor John Filion says he and his team will throw “the book at [Aura Dolls] for everything” they can. In an interview with the CBC he’s asked:

“Aura Dolls says that it’s doing nothing illegal. They say that they are being very clear that the dolls they are using represent adult women and that they are actually providing a service. Do you agree that they are doing this legally?”

To which he responds:

“No, they’re not at all legal. It’s an illegal use. And if there’s any confusion about that, they will be getting a letter from the city very soon. It is clearly not a legal use. It’s not permitted under the zoning bylaw and it fits the definition of adult entertainment parlour, for which you require a license — and they certainly would not get one. They would not get a license in this neighbourhood because it’s not a permitted use.”

Sounds like it’s gonna be a fight!
Would U go to one?
