A swimsuit company totally plays itself!
Okay, who didn’t see this coming???

A swimwear company named SunnyCo Clothing has pretty much shot itself in the foot with a new promo deal that promised everyone who reposted a photo of a girl in a swimsuit (above) and tagged the company within 24 hours would receive the swimsuit in question for free, minus shipping and handling!

And now the plan has backfired in the most HIGHlarious way!
Basically, THOUSANDS of people reposted the pic, and now SunnyCo has to give away about a bajillion swimsuits for free. Haha, they are SCREWED.
The company had to modify the giveaway after it went off the rails, saying they could cap the promotion as they saw fit. Do they even have thousands of that swimsuit to giveaway??? How many can they possibly have in stock?

Dudes, you should have given out these promo rules BEFORE announcing the deal, not after!
It didn’t take long for the whole thing to become a meme, of course.

LOLz!
It gets worse for founders Alan Alchalel and Brady Silverwood, however, as one of them has been getting angry messages on Facebook by customers who say they were charged the full amount ($64.99) when they tried to get their free swimsuits via the promo code offered.
A swimsuit company totally plays itself!
Whoops!
A spokesperson for Twazer, the app that sponsored the giveaway, told Buzzfeed that they were working on fixing the matter and making sure customers were only charged shipping and handling as promised.

“We’re both young companies and are a bit overwhelmed by the immense amount of interest in the product. We’re very grateful to have such an amazing customer base and pledge to work with SunnyCo to ensure that all customers are charged what they should be and not more.”

Good luck sorting this out, guys! We really mean that.
