Tom Brady Has Officially Signed With His New Team: The Tampa Bay Buccaneers!

Tom Brady signs with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers

It’s the end of an era in the National Football League!

Tom Brady has found a new home with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, after playing his entire career with the New England Patriots. The 42-year-old quarterback and face of the league has now officially signed with Tampa Bay, sealing the deal on news he first made with announcement of his departure from New England back on Tuesday morning.

As you can see (below), Gisele Bündchen‘s man was all smiles when inking the contract with his new team, clearly ready to re-prove himself again as a veteran quarterback with a new (and untested) group around him:

Along with cheesin’ for the pic, Brady wrote in the caption of the contract-signing post (below):

“Excited, humble and hungry …if there is one thing I have learned about football, it’s that nobody cares what you did last year or the year before that…you earn the trust and respect of those around through your commitment every single day. I’m starting a new football journey and thankful for the @buccaneers for giving me an opportunity to do what I love to do. I look forward to meeting all my new teammates and coaches and proving to them that they can believe and trust in me…I have always believed that well done is better than well said, so I’m gonna not gonna say much more – I’m just gonna get to work! #Year1.”

Year 1, indeed!

Tampa Bay was a bit of a surprise suitor for the star QB; many felt he’d never leave New England at all, of course. Other experts assumed the Los Angeles Chargers would make a nice destination for the high-profile pro athlete, considering the international media market there in El Lay, as well as the fact that the team lost their own star quarterback in free agency just days ago.

Still, here we are, with the league’s best — and oldest — QB settling in with Tampa Bay, an upstart club that (oh by the way!) hosts the Super Bowl early next year. And for football fans, it’s going to be very interesting to see whether the famed University of Michigan alum can replicate his long-standing on-field success down south next season.

What say YOU, Perezcious readers?! We don’t often cover zportz here but Tom Brady is next level! Think he’ll succeed in Tampa Bay?? Still surprised he’s gone for good from New England?!
