Has Uber Been Tracking Journalists & Finding Dirt On Their Families To Discredit Them? Plus They Can TRACK YOU Via A Scary 'God View' Tool! WTF!

If we told you there was a car service that was like a taxi but easier, cheaper and all cool and techy?
Now what if we told you that service’s executives don’t mind using their ‘God View’ tool on all their drivers AND passengers to spy on you?
And that they’ll access your ride info without your permission?
Oh and one of their execs, Emil Michael, a senior vice president at Uber, openly suggested the company invest a lot of money into discrediting a female journalist, Sarah Lacy.

It’s true: he wanted Uber to fight back against her by attacking her personal and family life. Lacy was targeted and attacked by the company after she criticized them for partnering with a French escort service.
The company is even under fire for being what some are calling a misogynistic company — and we’ve all heard the stories of drivers who have allegedly kidnapped women.
The Uber exec, Emil, tried to back track after all the backlash, saying:

“The remarks attributed to me at a private dinner ├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥ borne out of frustration during an informal debate over what I feel is sensationalistic media coverage of the company I am proud to work for ├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥ do not reflect my actual views and have no relation to the company’s views or approach. They were wrong no matter the circumstance and I regret them.”

And not a single apology in there. He’s just sorry he’s in trouble now.
Since word travels pretty quickly through social media, ‘Ubergate’ has been blowing up and tons of women have been deleting their Uber accounts.
This company really needs to change and make this right or else we’re pretty sure Lyft is gonna walk right over them.
And that might not be a bad thing.
