This just isn’t fair.
Not only is Uzo Aduba an Emmy Award-winning actress, but she’s got some pipes, too!
After getting her big break on Orange Is the New Black, Uzo is now starring in the musical movie Pearly Gates, where she gets to show off her trained singing voice.
That’s right. Uzo actually went to college for classical vocal performance at Boston University, so, as proven in this track, Promise You, she’s definitely going to kill it in this movie.
The movie doesn’t come out until 2015, but due to her win for Outstanding Guest Actress in a Comedy, the filmmakers decided to pre-release her single, and we couldn’t be more excited about it.
Seriously. She’s so good at everything she does!
Could Uzo be the next person to EGOT? We’re totally thinking yes.
