Ryan McCartan is keeping his head up following his split from (now ex) fiancée Dove Cameron.
As you may recall, earlier this month Ryan confirmed that he and his fellow Disney darling had ended their relationship. Many thought it would take a while for the Glowing in the Dark singer to move on from his heartbreak, especially since it was Miz Cameron who pulled the plug on their romance.
Nonetheless, McCartan seemed to be in high spirits on Thursday as he attended the red carpet premiere for his latest project, The Rocky Horror Picture Show: Let's Do the Time Warp Again. AH-Mazing!
UPDATE 12:50 PM EST: A source close to the movie told Vulture that Disney did indeed purchase the Mulan spec script with the white male lead but has no intention of using that take, explaining:
"The spec script was a jumping-off point for a new take on the story that draws from both the literary ballad of Mulan and Disney's 1998 animated film. Mulan is and will always be the lead character in the story, and all of the primary roles, including the love interest, are Chinese."
Jurassic World writers Rick Jaffa and Amanda Silver are working the current version.
We can't wait to see how they mansplain themselves out of this one…
Disney has found huge success with live action remakes, thanks to Maleficent, Cinderella, and The Jungle Book, so it's no surprise they're already doing too much with the genre.
While reboots of The Lion King, Aladdin, and Beauty & The Beast were more or less welcomed, the most anticipated of the bunch just found itself an unlikely controversy.
That's because it was just revealed that the first draft of Disney's live-action Mulanactually features a white male lead in place of the historically Chinese female hero!
For some reason or other, The Legend of Mulan writers Lauren Hynek and Elizabeth Martin want their teenaged Mulan to be saved by a 30-year-old European man… and the Internet is not taking the whitewashing lightly!
Luckily, an anonymous industry insider outed the proposed plotline in a guest blog post with Angry Asian Manon Monday, saying:
Gisele Bündchen took to Instagram to share a sweet pic of the couple's daughter Vivian and a family friend cheering Tom on (above) as they watch his big return on the tube! The model captioned the pic:
"Go Pats!!! 💙💙"
If the cute girls dressed as Elsa from Disney's Frozen aren't cute enough to melt your heart, Gisele also took to Snapchat to share:
A woman with a rare condition called "Rapunzel syndrome" recently had a 6-inch hairball surgically removed from her stomach and intestines because it was causing digestive problems and physical distress.
According to the medical journal BMJ Case Report, the 38-year-old woman suffers from a combination of trichophagia (hair-eating condition) and trichotillomania (hair-pulling disorder), which resulted in two separate hairballs lodged in her stomach.
The larger hairball had grown a "tail" that extended into her small intestine, and a second smaller one (4-inches) was found further down in her bowel.
As you may recall, Farrah's on-again/off-again boyfriend Simon Saran upset most of the MTV franchise when he called Amber's fiancé, Matt Baier, a pedophile and Maci Bookout an alcoholic on Snapchat.
Well, that shade clearly didn't sit well with the 16 & Pregnant stars... because when Simon attempted to apologize for his name-calling, he and Michael Abraham ended up physically fighting the rest of the cast!
According to an audience member, things turned ugly when Farrah interrupted Simon's "sorry," saying:
