That just might be the case!!!

It has been a while since John Mayer and Katy Perry called it quits, but it seems like the In Repair singer is still so upset about the split that he can't even dress himself in the morning.

Dude was seen OUT IN PUBLIC donning a velvet robe on top of his head-to-toe denim ensemble over the weekend in New York.

What other explanation could there be besides a broken heart for this INSANE outfit?

Maybe he's just attempting to channel the late and great robe wearing Jimi Hendrix??!

Regardless, this look is NOT working for us!! LOLz!

It may not have been good to be Taylor Swift when she was in the process of breaking up with Joe Jonas, John Mayer, and Harry Styles, but let us tell you, it is CERTAINLY good to be her, now!

Or at least her WALLET!

It honestly makes us a bit misty-eyed. We always hope these two might rekindle their fabulous flames for each other!!

Maybe the there isn't spacious enough to comfortably hold their love, LOLz!!

Maybe John Mayer wants to buy the 3-acre, 8,835 square feet, 7 bdrm / 11 bath mansion

He could turn it into a hipster parking lot! Or a luxurious storage space for his plethora of floppy hats!!

Uh-oh!

While we are SO excited that the three-week hiatus from Glee will FINALLY be coming to an end when a new episode, titled Shooting Star, airs this Thursday, we have a feeling that the recently-reported "unthinkable event" that is said to go down at McKinley High could have some SERIOUS ramifications on our beloved New Directions!

Why else would there be ONLY THREE new songs this week?!

GAH! Now we're all nervous and slightly scared for everyone!

Thankfully, however, we appreciate quality over quantity, and while the tune-age may be SCARCE this week, what is there manages to pack a punch!

For example, ch-ch-eck out Blake Jenner doing Elton John some serious justice with this stunning rendition of Your Song (above)!

While you're at it, give a listen to Chord Overstreet and mama-to-be Heather Morris declaring their love for each other with Extreme's More Than Words, as well as everyone in New Directions teaming up for Say by John Mayer…AFTER THE JUMP!!!

Guess we now know what he meant when he said that "coupling is a tricky thing!"

There's been all sorts of speculation since John Mayer and Katy Perry split regarding what exactly tore these two apart, with some rumors circulating that the singer's ex-husband, Russell Brand, somehow came between them, or even that the notorious womanizer was simply using her to promote recently-announced tour!

But according to sources extremely close to the pair, it was nothing but their respectively busy schedules that led to the demise of their love!
