Does anyone have a thermometer? Because we have a Phee-ver!

Katharine McPhee looked like a headlining star at the Met Gala last night.

The Smash actress showed off her bod in an orange beaded Elie Saab gown that would make Marilyn Monroe jealous!

Katharine's come a long way since her American Idol days, no?

But is Uma Thurman, ahem, Rebecca Duvall going to be able to pull it off?!

We guess we'll find out on the upcoming episode of Smash, which will finally feature the Hollywood starlet in the premiere of the musical-within-the-show based on the life of Marilyn Monroe, Bombshell (above)!

Yeah. We think it's safe to say that there is no way she'll be sticking around in that role for long!

But by the season's end, we can't help but wonder if Katharine McPhee or Megan Hilty will secure the part!

We'll tell you one thing, though - we can't wait to FIND OUT!
