They should change the name of the show to AWKWARD! With Kelly and Michael!

Regis Philbin has SPOKEN!
On Thursday, Regis gave his two cents on the controversy surrounding Kelly & Michael. Phlibin's opinion on this matter is especially important considering he was Kelly Ripa's costar on Live With Regis and Kelly.
While R.P. hasn't spoken with Ripa too much since his departure from the show in 2011, he's clearly on her team 100%. It's clear the icon believes ABC did the beauty dirty by keeping her in the dark about Michael Strahan's exit.
Standing firm on his position, the 84-year-old declared to TMZ:
"They should have told her in the beginning."
When pressed if K.R. was blindsided, the former cohost responded:
"To a degree. I can't tell because I'm not there. They're going to be alright. It'll be fine."
Hmm… we're not sure everything is "fine" considering Kel might not return to the show!
Despite Reg's support of the momma, he still thinks Michael is a great guy:
"He's great. He was great with The Giants. He's great on our show. He's doing a lot of stuff. He really is. He's a real pro. And [Good Morning America] could use him down there because they're in second place right now."
We just hope this drama comes to an end!

She must really be going through it.
That's because a source close to Kel spoke to Daily Mail on Thursday and revealed that she's so devastated by the news that she's actually cancelled her and Mark Consuelos' 20th Anniversary vacation to Turks and Caicos this weekend!
The source did not hold back from accusing the network of intentionally releasing the Good Morning America casting news ahead of her romantic trip, saying:
And though the longtime host is understandably livid over the secret shake up — so much that she has reportedly threatened to boycott the morning program until Strahan leaves — executives at ABC are confident the perky blonde isn't going anywhere!
According to production sources, it is highly unlikely that Ripa would leave the show out of anger, because she reportedly gets a pretty hefty salary — and has pretty expensive taste!
Insiders told TMZ that even though Kelly makes almost $15 million a year, she spends most of it on her lavish lifestyle, dishing:
Andy Cohen wants everyone to know he's #TeamKelly!
Simple and definitive! Love it!
Considering Andy probably has even more inside info on what's going on with Kelly during Michael Strahan's surprise exit, it's nice to see his support.
Now if only he could get gurl on Watch What Happens Live to dish the dirty deets to the world…

But it looks like the TV personality's cohost of four years might not be the only one at ABC who's upset over the sudden shake up!
According to reports, GMA co-anchor Lara Spencer is "furious" over the transition — because she was allegedly supposed to get Strahan's new role!
Multiple network sources told DailyMail that Strahan will be taking the "softer celebrity segments" on the morning program, leaving little left for Spencer to report on.
One insider explained:
Kelly Ripa is using her vacation time wisely!
The daytime host had quite the turbulent week after her longtime cohost Michael Strahan suddenly announced he would be quitting Live for a full time job on Good Morning America.
Well, it looks like the 45-year-old is definitely making use of her time off by spending it with her husband… oh, and doing some light
revenge plotting reading!
On Thursday, Ripa was all smiles as she was spotted leaving her New York City home with husband Mark Consuelos.
The petite blonde was also carrying a copy of a very telling book —
But at least gurl has some powerful friends in her corner!
Oprah Winfrey recently chatted with Entertainment Tonight about the talk show drama and totally sided with Ripa, saying:
