Can this family be any more adorable??

Sacha Baron Cohen, Isla Fisher and their beautiful daughters Olive and Elula had a family's day out at the Tribeca Film Family Festival in NY over the weekend.

Getting the kiddies interested in film at an early age, we see.

We love how involved Sacha and Isla are with their girls. And Olive is sure growing up! Love her colorful outfit!

Sacha Baron Cohen's Latest Gets A Release Date

sacha-baron-flick-release-date.jpg

If you like Borat and Bruno, mark your May 11, 2012 on your calendar. You'll want to save that date.

Paramount Pictures has announced the worldwide release date for the Sacha Baron Cohen's latest comedy The Dictator.

What's that? Oh, we hear some of you saying, "The Dictator? What's that about?"

You're in luck - we have the logline! Here's the plot of Sacha's latest:

"The film tells the heroic story of a dictator who risked his life to ensure that democracy would never come to the country he so lovingly oppressed. It is inspired by the best selling novel, Zabibah and The King, by Saddam Hussein."

Just from that sentence alone we know there are going to be protests. Sacha is nothing if not consistent! Pushing the envelope is his thing!

Such a long wait, though. Can they hurry this up a bit so we can enjoy the depravity, please?

Austrian Dancing With The Stars To Feature Two Men Dancing Together!

austrian-dancing-with-the-stars-to-feature-two-men-dancing-together

YES! It is seriously about effing time!

The Austrian version of the hit reality competition Dancing With The Stars will be the next edition to feature same-sex dance partners, as gay TV celebrity Alfons Haider - which many believe to have inspired Sacha Baron Cohen's Brüno character - will be dancing with castmember Balazs Ekker!

He revealed:

"I am going to dance with a heterosexual. This is not about being gay. I do not want my appearance on the show to be reduced to homosexuality. This is about the show, about entertainment. I am not the gay Joan of Arc."

Absolutely amazing! And the exact attitude that we like to hear!

Ekker also revealed that neither men will be comprising their masculinity to conform to the male/female roles as partners, and explains:

"There is no 100 percent answer to this because no one has done this before. But there is no way I am going to don a skirt and stockings to give the impression we're normal."

You guys are making history here! It's about time that this happened in US - and STAT!

We're so thrilled for you both, and cannot wait to see you how do in the competition!

Congratulations!

Bruno Sacha Baron Cohen Is Innocent!

lawsuit dropped against bruno and crew

For the past month, Sacha Baron Cohen has been dealing with legal dramz over claims that he attacked a gay cameraman at a rally for gay rights in 2008, but the case has been dropped.

Cameraman Mike Skiff filed the lawsuit against Cohen and the Bruno crew over the alleged attack, but he's decided to drop the case, citing his own "emotional well being."

According to Skiff's lawyer, Clifford Scherer, the matter "had become too difficult [for Skiff] to deal with."

More from Scherer:

"Mike is satisfied with the statements he made, and satisfied that people were made aware of the situation."

We're not sure exactly what REALLY happened, but we're glad to hear that suit has been dropped, and everyone seems satisfied or at least satisfied enough.

How do U feel about the suit being dropped?

Sacha Baron Cohen Being Sued For Attack On Gay Cameraman

sacha baron cohen accused of attacking gay cameraman

Sacha Baron Cohen is being sued for yet another one of his antics that took place during the filming of Bruno.

The Bruno actor is being accused of attacking Mike Skiff, a gay cameraman at a Prop 8 Rally in 2008.

According to lawsuit documents, Cohen and the Bruno crew arrived at the rally with "Yes on Proposition 8 signs contrived for the sole purpose of inciting and sparking unrest to enhance the dramatic effect of what they may capture for their film."

Skiff claims that when he began to shoot footage of the Bruno crew, they confronted him "…with the threat of being clubbed with wood signs."

The cameraman claims that Cohen shoved, pulled, and wrestled him while in Bruno character, which caused him serious injury.

Do U think the cameraman's claims are legit? Or do U think he's just looking for some $$$?

This could be amazing!

Sacha Baron Cohen has snagged the role of Queen frontman Freddie Mercury in an upcoming film to be produced in 2011!

The movie will center around the band's formative years all the way up to Queen's appearance at Live Aid in 1985.

So exciting! We love Queen and Sacha is great, too!

What do U think?

Bruno Lawsuit Dismissed

Good! He's in enough trouble already!

Sacha Baron Cohen is off the hook as a lawsuit accusing him of plagiarism has been dismissed. Cohen's character Bruno was thought to resemble a character is the unmade movie Himbos, where a man who dresses up in a Velcro suit makes a scene at a fashion show.

One down. Thousands to go.
