Witness At Christina Grimmie’s Final Show Recalls The Tragic Night & The Singer’s ‘Bubbly’ Performance

A witness recalls watching Christina Grimmie perform the night of her tragic passing.

It's still so hard to believe Christina Grimmie is gone.

The former The Voice contestant was murdered by a "deranged fan" while signing autographs after her concert at the Plaza Live Theater in Orlando on Friday night.

Julie Emmet, a concertgoer at the Friday show, spoke to E! News recalling the shock of hearing the news of Christina's passing:

"It really hasn't hit me yet that she's gone, but it's just really shocking and heartbreaking, to have been there especially."

So sad.

The fan continued to express that prior to the tragic shooting, it was just like any other night for the 22-year-old starlet. She explained:

We still cannot comprehend this senseless killing.

As you've surely heard by now, Christina Grimmie was murdered while signing autographs for fans after a concert in Orlando, Florida on Friday night.

The 22-year-old rose to fame as a contestant on The Voice back in 2014, so her death was especially difficult for Christina's reality television peers.

That's why we weren't too surprised to hear that X Factor finalists Fifth Harmony decided to honor the slain musician during a show of their own at the WBLI Summer Jam in Wantagh, N.Y. on Saturday night.

An alum of The Voice, Grimmie was performing in Orlando on Friday night when a reportedly 'deranged' fan shot her, severely wounding her, before shooting and killing himself.

Soon thereafter, of course, Grimmie succumbed to her injuries.

Late last night, when it wasn't clear whether or not Christina Grimmie would survive a shooting after a Florida concert, The Voice coach Adam Levine took to Instagram with a poignant message for the performer.

As we reported, The Voice alum Christina Grimmie was shot and killed at a show on Friday night in Orlando, Florida — and now, police are zeroing in on why.

Former The Voice Contestant Christina Grimmie Dead At 22 After Shooting Outside Concert

Christina Grimmie has sadly passed away.

It devastates us to report that Christina Grimmie has unfortunately succumbed to her gunshot wounds and passed away.

The 22-year-old had been greeting fans and signing autographs after a show with band Before You Exit in Orlando Friday when an unidentified man approached her and opened fire.

Police report the singer's brother tackled the shooter, but the gunman ultimately shot himself.

Christina initially got her start on YouTube performing covers of popular songs, before appearing on season 6 of The Voice in 2014 and finishing in third place.
