It's still so hard to believe Christina Grimmie is gone.
The former The Voice contestant was murdered by a "deranged fan" while signing autographs after her concert at the Plaza Live Theater in Orlando on Friday night.
Julie Emmet, a concertgoer at the Friday show, spoke to E! News recalling the shock of hearing the news of Christina's passing:
"It really hasn't hit me yet that she's gone, but it's just really shocking and heartbreaking, to have been there especially."
The fan continued to express that prior to the tragic shooting, it was just like any other night for the 22-year-old starlet. She explained:
Adam Levine is stepping up where it really counts.
In an update from Christina Grimmie's brother Marcus Grimmie, it was revealed that Adam has pledged to pay for the late singer's entire funeral. Mr. Levine will also take care of Christina's mother's flight to the service.
The touching news comes on the heels of Ms. Grimmie's tragic and senseless death on June 11 during a meet-and-greet with fans.
For those who don't know, Adam mentored the 22-year-old on season six of The Voice.
Ever since the singer passed away, her coach has publicly come out to express nothing but love and admiration for his former mentee.
