Jennifer Lawrence is in full-on bridal mode!
The 28-year-old got engaged to New York City art gallery director Cooke Maroney earlier this year, and she’s already planning for a “blowout party,” a source has spilled to People!

The insider divulged:
“She wants it to be a blowout party and for everyone to just have a ton of fun. She’s really excited about the wedding and can’t wait to be married.”

As we reported, JLaw did a bit of dishing herself recently, chatting with Catt Sadler on an episode of Naked podcast about all things wedding!
The Hunger Games alum talked about what her life has been like spending more time in the Big Apple — the city where she fell in love — over El Lay, revealing:
“I feel like I got to know myself in the past year. You know, I met somebody, I fell in love and I started a new life in New York. It’s not as private as I would love for it to be, but I have been doing things that I didn’t actually think that I could.”
The mega star further explained that while she used to not like going out so much, things changed once she began dating the 34-year-old love of her life. Sounds like he’s been a great influence on her!
She gushed:
“I used to have a stigma about, you know, going to restaurants, or I felt like I couldn’t go to dive bars. There were just certain things, like, ‘Oh, I can’t do that.’ And then the past year, I’ve just been doing all of that. … Honestly, I was dating someone and I didn’t want to tell him about [it.] You know, I wanted to be normal and cool, so I just kind of hid that part of me and it ended up being fine. … It was cool.”
Miz Lawrence went on to describe that she knew he was the one right from the start:
“I just met Cooke and I wanted to marry him. We wanted to marry each other. … Cooke is the greatest human being I’ve ever met, he really is. And he gets better. I know that sounds really stupid, but he is the greatest person I’ve ever met. I feel very honored to be a Maroney.”
