Taylor Swift & Adele Are Collaborating!

Taylor Swift and Adele are reportedly working together!

UPDATE 4/10/2019 2:00 P.M. EST: Sadly we’re now hearing this historic collab is more mythic. Which is to say, it’s NOT really happening.
They apparently didn’t even hang out! Boo!

Taylor Swift and Adele could potentially bless us with new tunes in the near future!
As we reported in March, while accepting the award for “Tour of the Year” at the 2019 iHeartRadio Music Awards, the Shake It Off singer told fans “there is new music” on the horizon.

Well, according to Hollywood Pipeline on Tuesday, that “new music” could be a collaboration with the Hello songstress.
Per the publication, the British musician has been in New York for the past few weeks, and was spotted at the Electric Lady recording studio in lower Manhattan.
During the last week in March, sources said Adele spent two days at Swift’s Tribeca penthouse.
Reportedly, an eye witness spotted tons of Adele’s recording equipment being delivered to Swift’s home for the hangout.
While it’s unclear if the two are working on a duet or simply having a jam session, we love the idea of them working together.
According to The Sun in June 2018, “a number of studio musicians have been approached to work with” Adele, whose new album is reportedly scheduled to be released around Christmas 2019.

During her speech at the iHeartRadio Music Awards, Swift gave a special shoutout to her haters who thought her Reputation World Tour would be a “flop.” She exclaimed:

“So, I think one of the most wonderful things about the way that this whole tour turned out is that for like the entire six months leading up to the first show of this tour, every headline that I read about the tour was, ‘This is going to be a massive failure. This is going to be a flop tour’… And it really did wonders for my self-esteem. It was really great to hear people saying that I was going to be playing to nearly empty stadiums.’”

Of course, the live extravaganza was anything but a flop, as it set a new record for the highest-grossing U.S. tour in history.
Joe Alwyn‘s girlfriend continued:

“I’ve learned a lot… One of the things I’ve learned is that life is really unpredictable. People can make forecasts and they can make predictions… predictions and forecasts may not come true if there is an unforeseeable factor involved, and that unforeseeable factor in this case was my fans. I honestly owe everything in my life to you. … You guys are the reason why this tour — the only reason why this tour — wasn’t a massive failure, and why it ended up being the highest-selling tour in U.S. history.”
