Michelle Money Reveals Daughter Brielle Is 'Doing Well' As Brain Pressure Goes Down: 'I Feel Very Strongly That She's Not Gonna Die'

Michelle Money shares positive update about daughter Brielle

Michelle Money is updating fans with positive news about daughter Brielle‘s recovery following a skateboarding accident earlier last week.

For those who haven’t been following along, the Bachelor alum’s 15-year-old suffered serious brain trauma and a fractured skull, which landed her in the hospital’s intensive care unit. It was just over the weekend that the former reality TV star asked for the public’s prayers to hopefully get some good news in regards to her daughter’s recovery.

Monday’s update seemed to be just that!

Taking to Instagram with a few pics of Brielle pre-hospitalization, Michelle wrote in the caption about the teen’s brain pressure numbers going down:

“Brielle is doing well today! Her numbers have been averaging around 16 with a few random spikes. She seems to be heading in the right directions where we will not need to take other measures to keep this pressure down! Thank God! We are waiting to see that number get down into the single digits and stay there for a solid day before taking her off these meds keeping her sedated. In typical Brie fashion, she is doing things her way! ? I am honoring that process as best as I can. We all miss her and wish we were goofing off together, but she needs to do what works for her and her body right now. I believe Brielle is healing not only her physical body, but her spirit as well. She has been through so much and experienced a lot of pain that I think she is sorting out right now.”

The 39-year-old momma continued:

“Those of you who know Brielle well, know that she is an old soul. Going through adolescence and teenage years has been difficult for her spirit. I have watched her fight a hard battle with trying to navigate life as a teenager while feeling so deeply and and [sic] seeing things in an incredibly mature way. She is incredibly sensitive to energy. The balance has been difficult. I do believe strongly that she wants to live her life here on earth and I trust that she will make that happen when its right for her. In the meantime, I am doing some soul searching and a lot of pondering and processing. There is an amazing opportunity for us as a collective to take this much needed time to heal our own wounds. We owe it to ourselves but we also owe it to our children. While we are all at home quarantined, maybe we can take some time to connect with our higher self and see the places in our life where we need to heal. Write the letter, make the phone call, have the hard conversation and do the work. The only way out is through.”

Lastly, Michelle concluded with:

“A lot of things are going to be changing for me. More compassion and forgiveness for others but most importantly, for myself. Mom guilt is so real and so painful. It causes us to make decisions based on fear. It is time to let that s**t go. It is causing more pain and anxiety than it is helping. I see that clearly. Let’s pray for healing on all levels for all of us❤”

We’ll take any positive updates and will continue to have her family in our thoughts!

Not much later, Money shared with her Instagram followers via Stories how she’s also celebrating the “wins” from this challenging time:

“I’m feeling a lot more stable and confident and secure in this process. And I think it’s definitely because I feel very strongly that she’s not gonna die. This whole week, every single day has been torture, but I feel like with the progress we’re making, she is gonna come out of this.”

Of course, there’s still the uncertainty of what Brielle might face when she does recover, but she’s ready to take things one step at a time:

“We don’t know exactly what issues are gonna come from that, but we will be 100 percent ready to take that on. I’m starting to just like process things and start to feel like I am more present and not in my head. I’m feeling a lot more secure, so that’s a very big win.”

Hoping Bri can make a full recovery soon!!
