He officially has his something new!
When Mitchel Craddock and his wedding party decided to celebrate his bachelor party with a five-day ATV adventure in Tennessee… making any new additions to his family was probably the furthest thing from his mind.
However, that’s exactly what happened when the Michigan man and his groomsmen rescued a stray dog and her seven pups earlier this week!

Apparently, Mitchel and his boys were cooking breakfast one morning when the momma wandered up to their cabin in the woods.
Well it was clearly love at first sight for the stray — whom the men decided to name Annie, as in the orphan — because according to Mitch, she never left their side:
“We were cooking bacon with the door open. The next thing you know, there’s this dog sitting right at the front door. She wouldn’t come inside, but she sat right there. We’d ride for four-to-five hours, or go into town, and every time we’d come back she would either be sitting on our doorstep or under one of our trucks.”
Awwww.
However, it wasn’t until they noticed Annie was producing milk that they thought to look for her litter — eventually finding SEVEN pups in a nearby den!

Mitchell explained the group’s decision to rescue the puppies to local outlet MLive, saying:
“Once we got the puppies out of the hole, we knew we couldn’t just leave them, so we started figuring out where they would go.”
It’s a good thing there were just enough people in the wedding party to give Brimmie, Rosie, Daisy, Knox, Gunner, Bear, Finn, and, of course, Annie new homes!!
