Baltimore Batman, Who Visited Children's Hospitals As Superhero, Killed In Car Accident

no title
This is so sad.
Lenny B. Robinson, the man known as the Baltimore Batman, has died in Maryland.
The 51-year-old, who regularly dressed up as Batman and visited children’s hospitals, was struck and killed by a car on Sunday night after his custom Batmobile had broken down and was on the side of the road.
He had been returning home from a car show in West Virginia.

Like Bruce Wayne, Robinson had also earned enough money in his life to allow him to spend his time making the world a better place.
He was remembered fondly by family and friends who spoke openly about how much he cared for kids who had endured very difficult lives. His brother Scott Robinson said:

“He was my brother, my business partner, my best friend. He touched a lot of lives and made a lot of kids smile. That’s all he wanted to do.”

Robinson had been visiting hospitals for quite some time when he rose to Internet fame three years ago, when he was pulled over by Maryland cops in his custom Lamborghini, fully clothed as Batman.
The video of that encounter (below) swept across the ‘net back in 2012:

Obviously, Lenny touched a lot of children’s lives in the most positive ways in those hospitals. Our thoughts are with his family, friends, and loved ones, as well as all the kids who were fortunate enough to spend time with Batman over the past several years during this tragic time.
