Britney Spears Granted Restraining Order Against Ex-Manager Sam Lutfi!

Go away, Sam Lutfi!

UPDATE! 1:12 P.M. PST: Britney Spears has been granted a temporary restraining order against ex-manager Sam Lutfi.
According to The Blast on Wednesday, the singer’s legal team and her father Jamie were in court when the judge approved the request.
Lutfi must stay at least 200 yards away from the musician, her parents, and her kids.
However, Sam is fighting back, and has filed an opposition to the court’s decision.
Per legal documents, Lutfi claimed he has not contacted Spears since 2009, and does not believe his alleged texts to mom Lynne and his tweets about the superstar warrant the TRO.
Additionally, he does not believe he has caused Britney “substantial emotional distress,” and said her team’s attempt to block his public comments violates his right to free speech.
In fact, Lutfi alleges Britney is disparaging him, as a result of her Instagram post where she accuses him of writing “fake emails” amid her mental health treatment.
In a statement, Sam’s attorney told the publication:

“We are Disappointed in the results. We feel this is overly broad and violates Mr. Lutfi’s constitutional rights. This is only temporary and we look forward To arguing the matter more fully at the hearing for a more permanent restraining order on May 28th.”

Britney Spears is sending a clear message to Sam Lutfi… GO AWAY!
After accusing him of writing “fake emails” amid her mental health facility stay (which he denied), the …Baby One More Time singer via her attorney filed documents on Tuesday seeking a temporary restraining order against the manager.

Per The Blast, the musician wants to protect her mother Lynne, father Jamie, sons, Sean and Jayden Federline, and herself.
According to the legal documents, Lutfi allegedly sent harassing and threatening texts and tweets to Britney and her family, causing them “severe mental trauma.”
Spears and her people also suggest he is behind the #FreeBritney movement, by allegedly writing “disparaging and threatening comments” on social media, and asking the public to “raise hell” to free Britney.
The 37-year-old’s legal team claims Lutfi is trying to disrupt her conservatorship through calls for “vigilante action, bribes, and release of private information.”
They believe his alleged actions are harmful for Britney’s safety and well-being, and want the restraining order to “prevent future harm and further psychological trauma.”
Additionally, the documents state that Lutfi allegedly sent mom Lynne an “unhinged” text on April 29, accusing her of not being involved in Britney’s conservatorship.
He allegedly wrote:

“You are the one that’s been breaking your back for your children your entire life and yet you are still having to answer to people that have done nothing for your family yet they are in charge… You need to stop allowing anyone to treat you poorly. Lou lives like a queen and does what she wants. You how how poorly she speaks about you behind your back… I want to just be able to provide you all the resources that you’ll need for this transition if that is the plan. Everything from counsel to $.”

Lutfi even allegedly sent Lynne $1000, which she did not accept.
Per the legal papers, Sam has threatened to release “trunks” of photos and other damaging materials he collected when he worked with Britney.

The Spears family has long believed that Lutfi — who worked with Britney in the early 2000’s — is responsible for her downfall, which ended in her 2008 breakdown.
As we reported on Monday, Lynne filed documents requesting to be involved in the upcoming hearing regarding the superstar’s conservatorship.
According to The Blast on Tuesday, Britney’s mom also wants her Louisiana lawyer, Gladstone N. Jones III, to represent her during the scheduled meeting.
