Are Brody Jenner and Kaitlynn Carter back together after half a year apart??
Over the past few months, the breakout high-drama couple of The Hills: New Beginnings have been on something of a relationship odyssey:
First, in August, Kaitlynn was reported to be Miley Cyrus‘ shoulder to cry on after the Liam Hemsworth breakup — then was quickly revealed to actually be Miley’s (other body part) to (something else) on. Brody quickly moved on with model Josie Canseco. Then in Hills episodes taped before their split they kinda sorta confirmed they’d had some form of open relationship.
Is that what led to new love/experimentation?
THEN Miley pulled a Liam on Kaitlynn after just a couple months and moved on with Cody Simpson. Subsequently Brody broke up with Josie, who is now dating perpetually problematic YouTube star Logan Paul, and last we heard he was with another young hottie, a model named Allison Mason.
Phew. And that’s what you missed on Glee.
The exes still have a lot in common, aside from both constantly clicking the “It’s Complicated” box on their relationship statuses, that is. They still have a lot of the same friends!
So last week Brody and Kaitlynn both flew to the same destination wedding as two of their pals, music producer Fisher and swimwear designer Chloe Chapman, were getting hitched in Bali, Indonesia.

Hey, isn’t that where Brody and Kaitlynn kinda got married that one time??
It looks like the romantic setting worked some magic on the exes… Kaitlynn wrote Sunday night on Instagram:
“only a few more precious hours left here in Bali. to be honest, the moment I landed here was the first time I’ve felt FULLY like myself in a very long time, sort of felt like I came back to life (and this surprised me because I’d thought I’d been feeling pretty good)! I got sad this morning thinking about leaving. LA has become a pretty heavy place for me lately (not really where I prefer to be anymore, but where I have to be for work ??♀️), so I’m trying to capture the spirit and energy I feel here and bring some of that home with me! ???☀️ thank you Bali, and everyone who’s been a part of this trip! I’ll remember it always!! ☺️”
Sounds like it was a special, reinvigorating time for her. But here’s the real kicker… She and Brody flew to Bali on their own but flew home TOGETHER!
Kaitlynn shared a video to her IG Story on Monday showing she and Brody were seatmates for 19-hour flight!
We remember Brody stayed civil with Kaitlynn even during the Miley times (or should we say the high times?) and have been able to hang at the same club at the same time — but that’s a long way from taking lengthy flights together.
Did they really have to attend the same wedding and end up getting back together? It’s something straight out of a rom com!!! LOVES it! If it’s true…
