This past week has been filled with tragedy as two black men Alton Sterling and Philando Castile were both shot and killed by police this week.
Unfortunately, the horrific events didn’t stop there though as there was another shooting on Thursday night in Dallas that left five police officers dead and another seven injured.

The attack, which is now the deadliest in U.S. law enforcement history since September 11, 2001, occurred during a Black Lives Matter protest over the deaths of Alton and Philando as multiple officers were shot by snipers.
Obviously people are quite upset over the injustice that we’ve seen in our country, but violence and taking innocent lives is not the right course of action as celebs like John Legend, Demi Lovato, and more took to Twitter to share similar sentiments regarding the recent Dallas shootings!

These Dallas shootings are horrific. Killing these officers is morally reprehensible and completely counterproductive to keeping us safe.
