Donald Trump Confirms He Gets Just One Intelligence Briefing Per Week, Claims He Does Not Need Any More: 'You Know I'm, Like, A Smart Person'

no title
All signs are pointing to Donald Trump being exactly as incompetent for the Presidency as we figured he would be right after Election Day.
That’s because now, new information is coming to light that The Donald does not take his intelligence info in the form of customary Presidential Daily Briefings (PDB) like, well, all other recent presidents.
Instead, he gets just ONE briefing per week!!

If that’s not enough of a concern, wait until you hear why The Donald chooses to only receive one intelligence briefing per week, as he directly said to host Chris Wallace on Fox News Sunday this morning:

“You know, I’m, like, a smart person. I don’t have to be told the same thing in the same words every single day for the next eight years. Could be eight years — but eight years. I don’t need that. But I do say, ├óΓé¼╦£If something should change, let us know.’ These are very good people that are giving me the briefings, and I say, ├óΓé¼╦£If something should change from this point, immediately call me. I’m available on one-minute’s notice.'”

Oh, so The Donald is smarter than the rest of us?! Ha!! Riii-iiight!!
Trump did point out that Vice President-elect Mike Pence is getting his customary daily briefing, so at least one person is watching what’s happening around the world…??
An actual person who actually knows a little bit about intelligence briefings — former CIA director Leon Panetta — was shocked and stressed by Trump’s, um, unusual take to PDB information.

Panetta went on CBSFace The Nation on Sunday, reacting by saying:

“Every president I know, and I’ve worked under nine presidents, every one has taken their intelligence daily brief because that sets the agenda for what you have to focus on as president of the United States. You are constantly on the intelligence scale looking at a series of threats that may be out there. Some of them may be credible. Some may not be credible. But those threats change on a day-to-day basis with new intelligence, with new sources, with new assets that provide information.”

No kidding!!!
Let’s just hope Trump figures that out sooner, rather than later.
