Goodbye, freedom of the press! It was great knowing you!
On Wednesday, during a press conference with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, CNN reporter Jim Acosta tried to ask Donald Trump about a report from The New York Times that accused his team of having talks with Russian intelligence officials a year before the election.

However, instead of being called on, the businessman only answered questions from Christian Broadcasting Network and TownHall.com, two conservative news outlets.
Sadly, this isn’t the first time liberal news organizations have been passed on. According to the senior White House correspondent:
“In the last three news conferences, all of the questions to the America news media have been handled by conservative press… The fix is in.”
For clarification, those outlets include The New York Post, Fox Business, WJLA, and The Daily Caller.
Although Trump is not responding to “questions about his associates” and “his aide’s contacts with the Russians,” Acosta says the Prez will have to eventually answer his critics sooner than later.
“They may think this is being cute or strategic in terms of trying to shield the president from questions, but those questions can only be shielded for so long.”
As we reported, Trump and Acosta have QUITE the history! In January, during his first press conference since being elected, Donnie refused to take his questions from him and even called CNN “fake news.”
What a sad day for journalism…
