Donald Trump Responds To Former Miss Universe Alicia Machado's Body Shaming Allegations By Bragging He 'Saved Her Job'

Donald Trump just doesn’t know when to stop.
On Wednesday, the presidential hopeful once again went after former Miss Universe Alicia Machado while at the same time trying to down play his past working relationship with the beauty queen. Tsk, tsk!
But why exactly is the Trumpster going after Miz Machado? Well, the Venezuelan-born celeb was brought back into the spotlight after Hillary Clinton discussed the disrespectful and misogynistic comments Alicia received from Donald during her time as MU.

In case you forgot, the reality TV vet actively body shamed Alicia and called her Miss Piggy following her 1996 Miss Universe win. When asked about the verbal abuse by Fox NewsBill O’Reilly, Donald replied:

“She did not do well. She had a lot of difficulty, and, you know, they wanted to fire her. The company itself wanted to fire her. I saved her job.”

*eye roll* Despite saying he totally “saved” Machado’s job, the businessman went onto to claim that he barely knows Alicia. He continued:

“I mean, look, I hardly know this person. This was a person 20 years ago. She wasn’t a successful, you know, I sold the Miss Universe contest for a tremendous price about, you know, six months ago. Worked out great.”

However, at time, Trump frequently talked about his efforts to get the brunette beauty to lose weight in radio and TV interviews. So either Donald was talking out of his a** about something he didn’t know anything about OR he did, in fact, know Alicia and is just now trying to bury his bad behavior. Both theories sound plausible to us!
The Celebrity Apprentice alum noted:

“I will bet you if you put up and added up all the time I spoke to her, probably less than five minutes/ I had nothing to do with this person, but they wanted to fire her. I saved her job because I said that’s what I was going to do. Look what happened? Look what I get out of it? I get nothing.”

Smh. What’s really funny though is that the 70-year-old doesn’t think this story will hurt his chances with female votes. He concluded:

“I think I’m doing well, and I have been doing well with, especially with married women. The Google just came out, and it was the first big post-debate poll, and we’re doing very well.”

We think Donald should check the poll results again. Just sayin’
