Guess whooooo’s getting sued again? Drake, that’s whooooo!
The infinitely sad rapper is facing legal action from Baden Baden Inc., a jewelry company Drizzy commissioned to create a custom $49,204 diamond owl pendant for him in January.
According to the suit, everything was hunky dory until June, when they noticed gold copycats copy owls appearing on Drake’s Instagram.
Now, the company is suing for copyright infringement, claiming he illegally duplicated their design and handed out knockoffs to his friends.
Baden Baden is asking for compensation and demanding the owl copies be handed over to them, despite the obvious fact that Drake’s used owls in association with OVO, his brand and record label, for years.
The most inneresting part about this whole situation is that the BBI is owned by Michael Raphael, the same stylist who is also suing Drake for the month’s worth of pay he owes him.
Drake’s connection to Mr. Raphael seems to be costing him a lot in legal fees!!
