Gigi Hadid is finally speaking out about those incessant plastic surgery rumors!
For years, fans have speculated on whether or not the supermodel, along with her sister Bella Hadid, has gone under the knife to enhance her physical appearance. It’s very much along the lines of what many have said about Kylie Jenner‘s major transformation…
However, on Wednesday, the starlet addressed the gossip in a conversation with Maybelline makeup artist Erin Parsons on Instagram Live, and contrary to the popular opinion about her perfectly plump cheeks, Gigi revealed she’s never had any fillers injected!

The 25-year-old explained her look has everything to do with genetics:
“People think I do fillers on my face, and that’s why my face is round—I’ve had this since I was born. Especially fashion month, when I was already, like, a few months preggo, you know.”
The expectant momma said her cheeks have “always” been fuller and have only gotten bigger as her pregnancy progresses. As you’re likely aware, Gigi is expecting her first child with Zayn Malik! Hadid mentioned her body had started changing months ago while she was still working during Fashion Week and long before we knew there was a baby on the way.

The model offered more reasons as to why a little nip-tuck is unnecessary for her:
“I think I like, have the cheeks already, so it’s like there’s not a lot to like, fill in.”
In addition, she said that picture-perfect brows are also completely natural:
“It’s so funny, the things you see online. People think that I shape my brows, like I shape my brows really arched. If you look at baby pictures of me, I’ve had these crazy arched brows since I was born.”
Gigi does have a cute throwback photo from her childhood as her IG icon, so you can try to dispute her there if you’d like!
As the conversation continued, the women also discussed whether Hadid’s nose or cheeks will undergo any changes while she’s pregnant — but Gigi said even if they did, she wouldn’t be bothered by it:
“Maybe. Don’t worry. I’m happy with the natural process of the world.”
Aww, love that! Cheers to embracing motherhood and all of the challenging things that come with bringing another human into this world. Who knows if this will quiet her critics, but we certainly appreciate the message about acknowledging natural beauty here.
