You’d think putting two icons together would yield better results…
While Hillary Clinton was the clear winner of Monday night’s Presidential debate, the Clinton campaign suffered a bit of a setback almost immediately after on Tuesday.
That’s because Apple dropped a surprise teaser for a sit-down interview between the Democratic candidate and Mary J. Blige… to less than stellar reception.

Apparently, Mary J.’s new talk show The 411 — named after her debut studio album What’s the 411? — premieres this Friday, and HRC herself will be the very first guest!
Unfortunately, the teaser doesn’t do Mary’s message about police brutality and racism any justice, because she’s just awkwardly singing at Hillary for pretty much the entire time.
While we couldn’t support the message more… belting full volume at someone sitting right across from you is just odd, no matter how many Grammys you have. (Nine. She has nine.)
Still, you know we’ll be tuning in when The 411 premieres Friday, September 30 on Apple Music!
