'Teen Mom 2' Officially Breaks Up With Jenelle Evans - And She's Already Being Courted By Other Networks!

After months of being strung along by MTV, it appears Jenelle Evans has officially been dumped.

The (former) Teen Mom 2 star revealed to E! News that she won’t be returning to the beloved reality series after a year so intense, not even the cable network was willing to exploit it.

But Jenelle doesn’t want fans worrying about her, because she apparently already has a few rebound relationships lined up. She told the outlet:

“I’m officially out of contract with MTV in April. That was the only thing I was waiting on to move forward. Once April comes around, I can start talking to other networks, thank God!”

Sounds like it’s for the best — especially considering the network has reportedly been giving the 28-year-old the runaround ever since her dog killing drama with ex David Eason last year.

A source elaborated:

“Jenelle and MTV have been going back and forth for months about where she stands with returning to MTV and the Teen Mom franchise… MTV told Jenelle her contract with them is over for good in April. Jenelle won’t be renewed come April. This is the final word from MTV. Contractually she can’t officially pursue opportunities with other networks until then.”

MTV shared a recycled, cold statement when asked for a comment about Jenelle’s exit, telling the publication:

“MTV ended its relationship with David Eason over a year ago in February 2018 and has not filmed any new episodes of Teen Mom 2 with him since. Additionally, we have stopped filming with Jenelle Eason as of April 6, 2019 and have no plans to cover her story in the upcoming season.”

While it sounds like the network never budged on its decision to cut ties with the controversial reality star, the insider says Jenelle “feels like she’s been strung along” by MTV and “has been in this holding pattern waiting for their final answer.”

The source added that the mother-of-three is “disappointed with how this turned out,” but is “is looking forward to being able to officially explore other TV options come April” — because you better believe she’s already “been in talks for other opportunities.”
