Harry Potter's J.K. Rowling Outed -- As Mystery Author Robert Galbraith!

jk rowling walking in england.

Where’s an invisibility cloak when you WANT one?!?

With nary a mention of Muggles, Quidditch, or Horcruxes in Robert Galbraith’s The Cuckoo’s Calling, a murder mystery book about a down-and-out private dick that was published this past Spring, somehow the Sunday Times in London still detected Harry Potter-like shadow cast upon its pages.

After a little sleuthing of their own, the newspaper discovered that Robert Galbraith was none other than J.K. Rowling writing undercover!

Upon the revelation being made public, Jo said:

“I hoped to keep this secret a little longer because being Robert Galbraith has been such a liberating experience. It has been wonderful to publish without hype or expectation, and pure pleasure to get feedback from publishers and readers under a different name.”

The book had previously received positive critical response, but now that word is out about whose wand pen is behind it, The Cuckoo’s Calling has climbed to the top of the bestsellers list on Amazon.

Congrats, Jo Jo! We├óΓé¼Γäóre probs just gonna wait for the movie — even if there won’t be spells, stones, or sorcerers in it — but we├óΓé¼Γäóre TOTES happy for the book’s success!
