Kim Kardashian West has come a LONG way!
In 2019, the reality TV star not only landed her first solo US Vogue cover, she attended the Met Gala for the seventh time — wearing a custom Mugler “dripping wet” dress.

However, Kanye West‘s wife has not always been fashion royalty.
Ever since her show KUWTK debuted in 2007, the now-38-year-old’s style has gone from cheap to chic, wtf to luxe, and everything in between!

2006
In 2006, a year before KUWTK premiered, Kim totally nailed “Party Girl” style as seen in the (above) pic of her dancing the night away with sister Kourtney Kardashian, and on-again, off-again friend Paris Hilton!
2007
Nowadays, Kim would not be caught DEAD in this outfit!
Back in 2007, the reality TV personality was spotted shopping at Intermix on Robertson Boulevard in a trucker hat and sweats.
2008
Where do we begin??
In 2008, Kim was spotted getting a manicure and pedicure at a nail salon in Beverly Hills wearing a beige bow top, cropped jeans, and disposable flip flops.
Truly far from where we are now!
That same day, Kim was spotted at Rite Aid shopping for light bulbs and tissues. Nowadays, she would probably have her assistant do these chores!
2009
In 2009, Kim was BANGIN’!
Miz Kardashian showed off her new hairstyle (above) at Millions of Milkshakes in Los Angeles with sisters Kourtney and Khloé Kardashian, as well as yours truly, Perez Hilton!
What a time to be alive!
2010
In 2010, after three years of being on TV, Kim’s style began changing for the better!
As seen above, she rocked an incredibly sexy little black dress with Christian Louboutin heels while promoting her fragrance at a Sephora in New York City.
2011
Of course, Kim’s fashion isn’t the only thing that has changed.
In August 2011, she married NBA player Kris Humphries in Montecito, California.
As you can see (above), in October of that year, the two celebrated her birthday at Marquee Nightclub at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas in Sin City.
However, NINE DAYS LATER, Kim filed for divorce after the two were married for just 72 days!
Yikes!
2012
The Kanye West effect!
In April 2012, while she was still legally married to Humphries, Kim began dating the rapper — who also influenced her new style.
The two looked very much like a couple while celebrating New Year’s Eve at 1OAK at The Mirage in Las Vegas (above).
At the time, Kim was also pregnant with her first child, North West!
2013
2013 was the year Kim became a mother!
In the pic (above), Kardashian showed off her maternity style in Sherman Oaks, California just THREE DAYS before giving birth to North on June 15, 2013.
Pregnant or not, KKW always keeps it fashionable!
2014
2014 was the year Kim broke the Internet!
For Paper magazine’s November issue, Kardashian was shot by Jean–Paul Goude as the two recreated his “Champagne Incident” photograph.
In addition to balancing a glass of champagne on her bum, Kim bared her ASSets!
This picture (above) is from a party celebrating her insanely popular albeit controversial spread.
2015
Kim continues to slay maternity style!
In November 2015, while pregnant with son Saint West, Kardashian attended the 2015 LACMA Art + Film Gala wearing a Givenchy sheer lace jumpsuit.
The next month, on December 5, she welcomed her first son!
2016
While attending Paris Fashion Week in October 2016, Kim was robbed at gunpoint inside of her and Kanye’s residence. Despite being gagged and bound by the robbers, she was thankfully not physically harmed.
As shown (above), Kardashian was pictured attending the Balenciaga Spring 2017 show wearing no make-up.
2017
In 2017, Kim was sleek and chic!
While attending the 2017 NBC Upfronts with Khloé, she wore a Chalayan top and Balenciaga boot pants.
The same year, she launched own beauty line, KKW Beauty, and fragrance line, KKW Fragrance.

2018
Who says moms can’t be sexy??
In November 2018, Kim attended the LACMA Art + Film Gala in a sexy, vintage Gucci by Tom Ford slip dress.
Earlier that year in January, Kimye welcomed their third child, Chicago West, born via surrogate.
2019
In May 2019, Kim attended her SEVENTH Met Gala wearing a custom Mugler “dripping wet” dress.
Prior to the event, she revealed on Twitter she “went home & cried” after her first event in 2013 because of “insecurity.” Additionally, she said she was Kanye’s plus one, “didn’t know anyone” there, and assumed “no one wanted [her]” at the bash.
Boy, times have changed!
