LeBron James’ 18-Year-Old Son Bronny Rushed To The ICU After Suffering Cardiac Arrest During USC Basketball Practice

Oh no! LeBron James’ teenage son suffered cardiac arrest in the middle of basketball practice!

On Monday, the famed NBA star’s son Bronny was carrying on with a normal day of basketball drills at the University of Southern California when the unthinkable happened… The 18-year-old went into cardiac arrest!

Luckily, medical staff were able to act quickly and rush the young athlete to a nearby hospital where he was treated in the intensive care unit before being released into general care. A spokesperson for the family told multiple outlets Tuesday morning:

“Yesterday while practicing Bronny James suffered a cardiac arrest. Medical staff was able to treat Bronny and take him to the hospital. He is now in stable condition and no longer in ICU.”

So terrifying. He’s SO young to be going through something like that! No word yet on why exactly the teen went into cardiac arrest, but until more information is available, the famous family asks for privacy:

“We ask for respect and privacy for the James family, and we will update media when there is more information.”

LeBron and Bronny’s mother, Savannah, also shared their “deepest thanks” via the rep to USC staff for getting their son the urgent help he needed:

“LeBron and Savannah wish to publicly send their deepest thanks and appreciation to the USC medical and athletic staff for their incredible work and dedication to the safety of their athletes.”

Thank god everyone acted so quickly and that he’s stable.

TMZ Sports was first to report the news after hearing of an emergency 911 call made from the university’s Galen Center, where the Trojans basketball team practices.

We are sending lots of healing energy to Bronny and the whole James family! Share your support in the comments down below.
