Mama June Admits To Spending $2500 A Day 'If Not More' On Expensive Meth & Cocaine Habit

Mama June admits to expensive meth and cocaine addiction with her boyfriend Geno Doak,

Mama June Shannon has been struggling with substance abuse but we doubt anyone knew the great and expensive lengths the reality TV star has gone to support her troubling addiction.

On last week’s episode of Mama June: Family Crisis, viewers watched at the 40-year-old embattled momma of two admitted to selling their family home and spending upwards of $2500 a day on meth and cocaine for herself and boyfriend Eugene “Geno” Doak. Excuse us while we pick our jaws off the floor because, wow…

In a face-to-face meeting arranged by producers with her daughter, Lauryn “Pumpkin” Shannon, 20, Mama June looked quite worse for wear as she made the shocking admission about her methamphetamine use:

“I mean, it was a couple ounces a day. Our habit was $2,500 a day, if not more.”

Unbelievable! How were they even able to function?!

She added that “it wasn’t something that just started,” explaining she’s used narcotics before and “got high because I wanted to.” Unfortunately, as our readers know, the star went off the rails after she was arrested in Alabama on drug and domestic charges last March, forcing Lauryn to take her 14-year-old sister Alana “Honey Boo Boo” Thompson under her care until things would cool down with their mother. Lauryn expressed concern for having Alana or her young daughter Ella around her, but June insisted she’s been “90 per cent sober” over the last few months:

“If this was four or five months ago, I would’ve been high as f**k when I came up in here.”

She also claimed that Doak has not been abusive to her despite reports to the contrary. WATCH her defend herself in the shocking clip (below):

In another exclusive, unaired clip obtained by Entertainment Tonight, Mama June detailed her previous experiences with cocaine upon starting the intake process at an addiction treatment center:

“[My drug of choice] has to be cocaine crack. I started snorting it, lost my vision, and then I quit and then I went into using… just smoking crack. It’s weird because if you snort it, it goes up in here.”

But according to Pumpkin, her momma isn’t being honest about getting and staying committed to professional help:

“She’s an addict. Mama is a real good habitual liar. She tries to convince everybody that she’s telling the truth, that she can just go out and quit drugs on her own. That’s not how this work. My thing is, if she doesn’t need help to stop, then why doesn’t she just stop?”

Either way, June says she’s hellbent on making a turnaround at this point in her life but we have to say, the early action signs haven’t been promising. Listen to her reflect on the mistakes she’s made in another excerpt from the explosive episode (below):

We’re sincerely wishing her and their family the best during these difficult times, and that real change is on the horizon.
