More stars continue to voice their devastation over Monday’s Manchester attack, including Mariah Carey.
On Thursday, the songstress paid tribute to one of her fans who lost his life at Ariana Grande‘s concert by sharing a smiling pic of him to Instagram.
Martyn Hett, a 29-year-old PR manager, was known as a superfan with even his Twitter bio reading, “My life peaked when I met Mariah Carey.”

Accompanying a sweet shot of Martyn (below), Mariah shared a heartbreaking message in the caption:
Devastated to learn that one of the victims in Manchester was part of the #Lambily. RIP Martyn Hett. We will cherish your memory forever. His family and all the families affected are in my thoughts and prayers. MC 💔❤A post shared by Mariah Carey (@mariahcarey) on May 24, 2017 at 10:07pm PDT
Unlike Kim Kardashian West‘s “insensitive” post, Mariah also shared her devastation in a tweet earlier this week, writing:
My heart goes out to the families of those who lost their lives in Manchester last night. My thoughts & prayers are with you all. God bless.

Martyn’s family also released a statement via the Greater Manchester Police, saying:
“Words cannot describe the generosity and kindness our families have received over the last few days. We are overwhelmed with the amount of lives he has touched and the kind words that are being said about him.”
R.I.P.
We’re sending out so much love to those affected by the horrifying attack on Monday night.
