This Oreo Vendor Machine AT SXSW Chooses Flavors Based On Trending Twitter Hashtags! FOR REAL!

This is some crazy Back to the Future III bullshiz right here.
If you’re at SXSW, you have to abandon all of your plans and go to the Trending Vending Lounge, where Oreo, Twitter, and MAYA Design will print you custom Oreos based on topics trending on Twitter.
Wow, we really hope no social media-savvy celebs die during SXSW! That would be one daaaark cookie!
Bonin Bough, vice president of global media for Oreo’s parent company, Mondelez International said this about it:

“We partnered with Twitter and built unique algorithms that prints the cookies based on what’s trending on Twitter in real time. [sic] this is the ability to actually taste culture through an Oreo. We call it ‘eat the tweet’.”

After you look for and choose the hashtag you want, the machine will automatically turn that hashtag into something new using twelve different flavors, colors, and patterns. That means there’s more than 4k possible combinations!
Oh, and we’re hearing that even with flavors like banana, mint, birthday cake, lime, etc. that it all pretty much tastes like an Oreo.
Which is fine, because OREOS.
Ugh. Get in our mouths!
