Lifetime's Prince Harry & Meghan Markle Movie Was The MOST Absurd Thing!

no title
Princess Diana‘s character appearing in the form of a lion, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle portrayed by lookalike actors with undeniable chemistry, and a whole lot of drama on screen… there was SO much to like about the zany made-for-TV movie Harry & Meghan: A Royal Romance that premiered on Lifetime Sunday night!
And with the real royal wedding just days away, it appears everybody is trying to cash in on the fanfare around the royal couple, even if it means putting out a truly absurd TV movie about a fake couple and a princess lion!!!

If you didn’t see the two-hour emotional roller coaster on Lifetime last night, Murray Fraser (Harry) and Parisa Fitz-Henley (Meghan) do their damnedest to portray a royal couple caught in a weird situation.
The movie goes like this: set in Botswana in 1997, Harry runs away from his father and brother supposedly just after the death of his mother, Princess Diana, and finds himself at the foot of a tree as a lion approaches.
Harry saves the lion from being shot — we later learn he thinks it wasn’t a lion, but really his mother — and the boy (sort of?) comes of age in the film just as Meghan herself is also growing up, a world away.
The next two hours unfold exactly and broadly like you’d expect them to: against plenty of controversy and a heaping of doubt, Meghan and Harry find each other and stick together, proving their love, and fighting all odds to remain a couple.
We hear from the lion again later in the movie — this time, it confronts both Harry and Meghan, now as adults. But all’s well that ends well and true love wins out for the couple… against all odds!!!
